Overview

LIN SCAN is looking for passionate and professional In-Line Inspection Project Manager for Projects in South America. Operational projects involve (but not limited) the mobilization of the resource to the Oil & Gas fields, servicing the Oil & Gas pipelines, arranging field surveys and field verification, demobilization of equipment upon completion and Reporting. The candidate will lead a project team, producing, executing and controlling the project budget.

 

 Competency Requirements

 

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 3 years of operation planning experience.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas sector or EPC contracting.
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience in Pipeline processes (especially in ILI).    
  • Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level.      
  • Fluency in English, the language of the Territory or Main Country is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel extensively.

 

Key Duties and responsibilties

  • Manage all assigned projects from the moment project is awarded till obtaining the completion certificate of the project.
  • Ensure the proper distribution and delegation of responsibilities to the field personnel.
  • Ensure staff has all qualifications, certifications, courses, training, visa, etc, which is required for the project execution.
  • Evaluate performance of field engineers and supporting staff.
  • Assure the smooth project handover from the sales department.
  • Review budget estimation once the project is transferred from sales.
  • Prepare project information document, including detailed execution plan with allocation of resources and project risk management plan.
  • Review and adjust project cost estimates when needed.
  • Establish the proper communication line with the corporate project management department in the corporate office and VP of the assigned territory through ERP and regular reporting.
  • Maintain overall first tool run success rate at a minimum of 80%.
  • Ensure quality & HSE procedures are applied and followed during project preparation and execution.
  • Communicate daily with field staff to review daily activities and project progress.
  • Achieve the invoicing targets, control the cost efficiency and profitability of the assigned projects as well as to ensure proper follow up on collection.
  • Cooperate with the procurement department to ensure the procurement plan for the services and the materials to be purchased is finalized.
  • Cooperate with other Company departments making sure that organization benefits from the accumulated project experiences.
  • Assist the sales department with client visits if needed.
  • Maintain and update the Project related data in ERP system.
  • Meet regularly with existing clients, agents and prospects to understand their evolving business needs and position to meet surfaced needs.
  • Coordinate activities between Client, sub-contractors and Company departments.
  • Update clients on field operational activities as needed.
  • Assure customer satisfaction with the project execution.
  • Reviewing of all reports (preliminary, final, etc…) prior to submission to client.
  • Ensure proper project closing through collection of all documents related to customer feedback about the project, project completion certification, invoices, and collection plan.
  • Prepare different type of technical documents to
    be submitted to client such as method statement, pigging procedures, dig verification
    procedures, etc.
  • As a natural leader, you will select, develop and
    motivate your team in a positive manner to perform, meet all the relevant
    KPI's and help them with their personal development.
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by MoP, VP and/or Executive Team within the assigned job role.
